Cantonese fare \u2014 and its cousin Hong Kong fare \u2014 still predominate, though there are plenty of regional cuisines to be found, from Shanghai, Taiwan, Teochew, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Fujian, plus some very good <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/9\/4\/24233764\/pho-ga-vang-chicken-pho-vietnamese-chinatown-nyc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vietnamese<\/a>, Japanese, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2019\/2\/26\/18241383\/kopitiam-pan-mee-kyo-pang-lower-east-side-eater-awards\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Malaysian foods<\/a>. Soups, dumplings, rice rolls, noodles, stir-fries, and fresh whole steamed fish scattered with ginger and green onions are in abundance in <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2018\/4\/16\/17217254\/food-walking-tour-chinatown-cheap-eats-nyc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this historic neighborhood<\/a>, with prices that run from very modest to more expensive.
