Sir David Beckham<\/a> has hailed his son Cruz as \u201cfiercely loyal\u201d amid the family\u2019s ongoing feud with his older brother Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

The former footballer said Cruz<\/a> was also \u201ckind\u201d and \u201cconsiderate\u201d in a social media post on Friday to mark his 21st birthday.<\/p>\n

Sir David\u2019s eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, publicly attacked his family last month, saying he did not want to \u201creconcile\u201d with his father and Lady Beckham.<\/p>\n

Sir David hailed Cruz as \u2018fiercely loyal\u2019 amid the family\u2019s ongoing feud with his older brother – Instagram<\/p>\n

Cruz, a musician, is the couple\u2019s youngest son and leads a band called The Breakers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the post, Sir David wrote: \u201cNot so little anymore but the proudest thing that I am of you is the person and man that you have become, you are kind, considerate and fiercely loyal to your family, friends and everyone around you which makes you a very special person.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are on your own journey in life and you are working hard and having fun which is what life is all about… We love you Cruzie and hope you have the most amazing day because you deserve to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sir David shared a tribute to his youngest son on Instagram<\/p>\n

Peltz Beckham announced in a social media post in January that he did not want to \u201creconcile\u201d with his family<\/a>, having accused his parents of prioritising \u201cBrand Beckham<\/a>\u201d over all else and controlling narratives in the press.<\/p>\n

In the posts, he claimed his mother \u201chijacked\u201d his first dance at his wedding<\/a> with an \u201cinappropriate\u201d display that left him \u201cuncomfortable and humiliated\u201d.<\/p>\n

He also accused his parents of \u201ctrying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn\u2019t stopped\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tensions between the Beckhams and their son and his wife started in 2022 following the couple\u2019s marriage, when controversy swirled over Peltz not wearing a Lady Beckham-designed wedding dress<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In his January post, Peltz Beckham said: \u201cI have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, DJ Fat Tony told ITV\u2019s This Morning that Marc Anthony, the singer, asked for \u201cthe most beautiful woman in the room<\/a>\u201d to come to the stage at the wedding.<\/p>\n

Guests were said to have believed it was for Peltz\u2019s first dance with Peltz Beckham, but instead Lady Beckham was then called to the stage and asked to dance with her son, prompting Peltz to leave the room in tears.<\/p>\n

Anthony later told The Hollywood Reporter that claims around Peltz Beckham\u2019s feud with his family were \u201chardly the truth<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n
