\nThe victory was the 266th in the career of head coach John Dunne<\/a>, who became the MAAC’s all-time leader in wins. Marist was fueled by the tandem of Justin Menard<\/a> (30 points) and Rhyjon Blackwell<\/a> (22).<\/p>\n
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tManhattan jumped out to an early 7-2 lead, but the Red Foxes fought back to tie the game at 10 four minutes in.
\n\tA three-point play by Parby Kabamba<\/a> gave Marist its first lead, 24-23, at the 8:19 mark. This was the first of 11 lead changes that took place over the ensuing 6:09.
\n\tRhyjon Blackwell<\/a> scored the final eight points of the first half, and Marist took a 42-35 lead to the locker room.
\n\tA 6-0 Marist run, which included four points from Justin Menard<\/a>, gave the Red Foxes a 12-point lead with 16:59 to play.
\n\tMyles Parker’s<\/a> dunk gave Marist a 62-46 lead, and forced a Manhattan timeout with 16:30 to go.
\n\tMartin Kawa’s<\/a> jumper with 9:22 to play put Marist up 70-49, which was the Red Foxes’ largest lead of the contest.
\n\tManhattan countered with a 9-0 run to get within 12. The Jaspers against got within 12 with two minutes to play, but were held scoreless for the remainder of the game.

\n\tMenard shot 10-for-14 from the field, 3-for-5 from three-point range, and 7-for-8 from the free throw line to get his 30 points. He also contributed three assists, two rebounds, and two steals with zero turnovers.

\n\tBlackwell shot 8-for-13 from the field and 2-for-3 from three. He also had a team-high five assists to go along with his 22 points.
\n\tJadin Collins-Roberts<\/a> gave Marist three double-digit scorers with 11.
\n\tJaden Daughtry<\/a> grabbed a team-best eight rebounds.
\n\tMarist shot .552 (32-for-58) from the field, .412 (7-for-17) from three-point range, and .813 (13-for-16) from the free throw line.
\n\tTerrance Jones led Manhattan with 29 points.

\n\tMenard’s 30 points were a career high, and they were the most by a Red Fox since Josh Pascarelli<\/a> had 31 against Canisius 52 weeks ago to the day \u2013 Feb. 21, 2025.
\n\tBlackwell topped 20 points for the fourth time this year.
\n\tMarist has now won its last seven against Manhattan.
\n\tMarist topped 50 percent from the field for the eighth time this season. The Red Foxes are 8-0 in these games.
\n\tMarist had 19 assists in the game, and the Red Foxes are now 13-1 when they have at least 15 assists.

\n\tMarist is 17-10 overall, and 11-7 in MAAC play.
\n\tManhattan is now 12-17 this season, and 8-10 in the MAAC.
