Binghamton University is adding women’s flag football to its list of athletic offerings.<\/p>\n
It comes as the NCAA has recognized women’s flag football as an emerging sport for women.<\/p>\n
BU officials say this now means there are 11 men’s and 11 women’s sports on campus.<\/p>\n
Its first season is set for the spring 2028 semester.<\/p>\n
“This allows young women in high school or even growing up in elementary school to now strive to come to Binghamton to compete on a college level playing women’s flag football,” said Eugene Marshall Jr., director of Binghamton University Athletics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Binghamton University is adding women’s flag football to its list of athletic offerings.
