They overwhelmingly ratified a new contract and will return to work next week! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/BH9k8U44Bv\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/BH9k8U44Bv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; NYSNA (@nynurses) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nynurses\/status\/2025357017762709807?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">February 21, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>According to NYSNA, 93% voted yes, and 7% voted to reject the contract.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a proud moment for our union,\u201d said NYSNA President Nancy Hagans in prepared remarks. \u201c15,000 NYSNA nurses went out on strike, and finally all 15,000 will be returning to the bedside. We are so happy with the wins we achieved, and now the fight to enforce these contracts and hold our employers accountable begins.
