{"id":142645,"date":"2026-02-23T13:37:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T13:37:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/142645\/"},"modified":"2026-02-23T13:37:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T13:37:08","slug":"nyc-courts-closed-monday-amid-inclement-weather","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/142645\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC courts closed Monday amid inclement weather"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CITYWIDE \u2014 COURTHOUSES ACROSS NEW YORK and several surrounding counties will be  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycourts.gov\/notice\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">closed<\/a> Monday, Feb. 23, due to continuing inclement weather.<\/p>\n<p>The closures apply to courts in the five boroughs and in Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Sullivan, Ulster, Green and Columbia counties, except for emergency applications.<\/p>\n<p>Criminal Court arraignment parts will open at 2 p.m. Family Court emergency matters will be heard in Criminal Court.
