(WIBW) &#8211; Two men were arrested in connection with aggravated battery following a weekend incident in the Aggieville district of Manhattan, officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The arrested men were identified as Christopher Barnes, 32, and Tavon Goodman, 28, both of Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the Riley County Police Department, the incident was reported around 12:58 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in the 1100 block of Moro Street.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Two men were arrested in connection with aggravated battery following a weekend incident in...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/1771863670_948_QMRODRTYBJOTZDAMAFFT62ZOWA.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"650\" \/>Two men were arrested in connection with aggravated battery following a weekend incident in the Aggieville district of Manhattan, officials said.(WIBW)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police officials said both Barnes and Goodman were listed as victims in addition to being arrested in connection the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Riley County Police officials said Barnes was booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Barnes, who was issued a total bond of $25,000, had been released from the Riley County Jail as of Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Goodman, meanwhile, was arrested in connection with aggravated battery, criminal threat and disorderly conduct, officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Goodman was issued a total bond of $15,000 and also had been released from jail as of Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WIBW.
