Are you interested in strategic operations at a high-quality design practice? Are analysis and communication your strong suits?<\/p>\n<p>\n The Projects &amp; Staff Planner works with our Project Managers and Principals in crafting and updating plans for all design projects. This strategic role also provides contract review &amp; maintenance, anticipates hiring needs, analyzes and initiates improvements, and provides training on best practices.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n Responsibilities:\n  <\/p>\n<p>Analyze resource planning across all projects, with an eye towards improvement.<br \/>\n  Develop awareness of each architect\u2019s and engineer\u2019s skills, commitments, and interests through daily communication.<br \/>\n  Work with individual Project Managers (PMs) and Principals in crafting project plans.<br \/>\n  Forecast cross-project overlaps (\u201csynergies\u201d) and conflicting demands (\u201cperfect storms\u201d) to keep PMs aware of workflows on other projects impacting their teams.<br \/>\n  Respond effectively to changes by working with PMs to adjust project plans.<br \/>\n  Coach, mentor, and train PMs in scheduling methods.<br \/>\n  Run bi-weekly staffing meetings to present information simultaneously to all Principals.<br \/>\n  Create graphics and narratives to effectively summarize issues.<br \/>\n  Keep track of proposal approvals, update database and the project plan accordingly.<br \/>\n  Anticipate when a project team requires additional resources and when a new project is likely to start. Alert hiring team about needs exceeding current staff.<br \/>\n  Support PMs and Business Team with client communication on projects\u2019 status such as ASRs and client payments.<br \/>\n  Assist Business Team with internal transaction reviews and reconciliations.<br \/>\n  Review contracts with legal and insurance advisors. Ensure execution of a contract\u2019s final version.<br \/>\n  Respond to client communication regarding contracts and certificates of insurance.<br \/>\n  Make recommendations when additional planning tools are needed.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in architecture or engineering.<br \/>\n  Minimum of 3 years of PM experience at an architecture or engineering practice.<br \/>\n  Experience with scheduling multiple projects is highly desirable.<br \/>\n  Strong knowledge of pre-design, design, and construction administration phases, along with the work involved in each phase.<br \/>\n  Knowledge of AIA contracts and other formats.<br \/>\n  Proficiency in Ajera and\/or Deltek, or other integrated practice management platforms.<br \/>\n  Proficiency in MS Office applications and Zoom.<br \/>\n  Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.<br \/>\n  Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment, to motivate and build trust among colleagues.<br \/>\n  Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities.<br \/>\n  Active listening skills and effective communication, with a good sense of perspective.<br \/>\n  A \u201ccan-do\u201d attitude and effective problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<p>This position is in person in office, with option for one flex day per week.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Compensation:<\/p>\n<p>$85,000 \u2013 100,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and education.<\/p>\n<p>To apply, please upload your resume and letter of interest addressing your qualifications and experience as they relate to the position description at the link below:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/heintgesconsultingarchitectsengineers.applytojob.com\/apply\/iWnoA2p4R5\/PROJECTS-STAFF-PLANNER\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Projects &amp; Staff Planner<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Heintges Consulting Architects &amp; Engineers are committed to the realization of innovative building enclosures which meet the highest levels of sustainability and performance.\u00a0 We maintain a broad portfolio of impactful projects worldwide including art museums, cultural centers, academic and government buildings, and supertall towers.\u00a0 Our work is guided by a shared commitment to quality, as our talented professionals collaborate with clients and contractors to deliver exemplary projects.
