Queens of the Stone Age announced a handful of special live dates, a continuation of the band\u2019s The Catacombs tour connected to the band\u2019s Queens of the Stone Age: Alive in the Catacombs film project.<\/p>\n

That live album\/film documents Joshua Homme\u00a0and his colleagues\u2019 breathtaking performance inside the Catacombs of Paris.<\/p>\n

Alive in the Catacombs chronicles the band\u2019s July 2024 performance filmed below the streets of Paris in a truly unforgettable setting.<\/p>\n

Here are those new tour dates:<\/p>\n

April 24 \u2013 Joshua Tree, CA @ Joshua Tree Retreat Center
April 25 \u2013 Rancho Mirage, CA @ Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage- The Show
April 27 \u2013 Portland, OR @ Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
April 29 \u2013 Seattle, WA @ The Paramount Theatre
May 1- Lincoln, CA @ Thunder Valley Casino Resort \u2013 Venue at Thunder Valley<\/p>\n

QOTSA had aims of playing inside the Catacombs of Paris for decades, following Homme\u2019s first visit to the city \u2014 but Paris hadn\u2019t granted any musical act permission to do so, until July 2024 and the performances that were filmed for\u00a0Alive in the Catacombs.<\/p>\n

H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Furminieux (Les Catacombes de Paris) said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Catacombs of Paris are a fertile ground for the imagination. It is important to us that artists take hold of this universe and offer a sensitive interpretation of it. Going underground and confronting reflections on death can be a deeply intense experience. Josh seems to have felt in his body and soul the full potential of this place. The recordings resonate perfectly with the mystery, history, and a certain introspection, notably perceptible in the subtle use of the silence within the Catacombs.\u201d<\/p>\n
