The deposition of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton regarding the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein was paused Thursday after a photo of her inside the private proceeding was posted online.<\/p>\n
Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert sent the photo to a conservative influencer, who then posted it on social media.<\/p>\n
Releasing a photo from the private deposition violates the House Oversight Committee’s rules.<\/p>\n
News 12 was there when Boebert left the deposition and returned. She was asked why she sent the photo.<\/p>\n
“Why not?” she answered. She was then asked a second time.<\/p>\n
“I just returned to my hotel room and installed the BleachBit software and took a hammer to my iPad, so I guess, in regards to your photos, I do not recall,” Boebert replied.<\/p>\n
