Police are searching for three men who they say tried to steal a teenage boy’s jacket at knifepoint at a McDonald’s in Bensonhurst.<\/p>\n
Officials say the men walked up to the 16-year-old inside the restaurant on Bay Parkway around 7 p.m. on Jan. 3.<\/p>\n
Authorities say one man told the teen, \u201cGive me your jacket,\u201d prompting him to run outside.<\/p>\n
The men followed the teen and tried to take his jacket, causing the teen to fall to the ground. One man displayed a knife while the others struck the teen in the face, according to police.<\/p>\n
The trio ran from the McDonald’s on to 67th Street.<\/p>\n
Authorities say EMS took the teen to Maimonides Medical Center. He is expected to be OK.<\/p>\n
