RIVERDALE, N.Y.\u00a0\u2013 The Manhattan Jaspers women’s lacrosse\u00a0team (0-5), despite another hat trick from Julia Kerr<\/a>, dropped its non-conference contest against the Dolphins\u00a0from Le Moyne\u00a0(4-1)\u00a0by a final score\u00a0of 16-10 at Gaelic Park\u00a0on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

HOW IT HAPPENED<\/p>\n


\n\tSophie Pasnak<\/a> registered two saves in the first five minutes, including one on a free position opportunity.
\n\tLe Moyne broke the ice midway through the quarter, as Olivia Lockwood and Francesca Tortora scored their firsts of the day.
\n\tOff a feed from Logan Pilon<\/a>, Meghan Wendler<\/a> found the back of the net for her second goal of the season.
\n\tAfter the Dolphins added one more before the end of the first, Julia Kerr<\/a> took advantage of a free position chance to get the game back within one midway through the second.
\n\tLauren Maher<\/a>, on a man-up sequence, converted for her third score of 2026 just before the halftime horn.
\n\tPilon needed less than 90 seconds to trim the margin to four to kick off the third.
\n\tMaya Metz<\/a> capitalized off a pass from Katelynn Naylor<\/a> for the fifth Jasper score before the third quarter came to a close.
\n\tWith the Dolphins stretching out their lead to double digits, Manhattan worked the margin back to seven thanks to two more scores from Kerr and another from Ella Brunette<\/a>.
\n\tMetz scored the tenth and final goal for Manhattan, as the contest ended 16-10. <\/p>\n

\n\tSophomore attacker Julia Kerr<\/a> led the team in goals, putting together her second hat trick of 2026.\u00a0
\n\tFreshman attacker Ella Brunette<\/a> and Senior attacker Maya Metz<\/a> followed close behind with two of their own.
\n\tFreshman defender Avery Graham<\/a> collected the most ground balls with two.
\n\tBrunette also led the squad in draw controls, winning five.
\n\tRedshirt Junior goalkeeper Sophie Pasnak<\/a> logged nine\u00a0saves through a full 60 minutes. <\/p>\n
