Shayla Quinn\u2019s playful post, which she captioned, \u201cI might be single AF right now but if a $4,500 wedding\u00a0dress\u00a0is marked down to $100 at a bridal sample sale I will be bringing it home with me,\u201d racked up close to 4 million views on Instagram and TikTok.<\/p>\n

Quinn told The Post she was shocked by the messages of support she\u2019s received.<\/p>\n
\u201cI honestly was expecting for people to think I was insane. But I\u2019ve gotten such an overwhelmingly positive response to this,\u201d said Williamsburg resident Quinn, 36.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo many women have said that they did something similar and ended up meeting their partner shortly after, which I love. And I also randomly got so many comments from men being like, \u2018I respect this. I\u2019m a dude and I would have even bought the dress.’\u201d<\/p>\n
The brunette beauty first laid eyes on the triacetate halter gown the day after Valentine\u2019s Day, while at a bridal sample sale pop-up her friend was running on Bond Street in NoHo for Australian brand Kyha Studios.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe had invited me multiple times throughout the two weeks and I kept telling her, \u2018Look girl, I love you. I want to support you, but I have no business being there because I am very single,’\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n
But her pal finally convinced her to stop by, and that when Quinn found her perfect match.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wasn\u2019t looking for a dress. I feel like the dress found me,\u201d she gushed.<\/p>\n
\u201cI mean, obviously the price was a huge factor, finding a $4,500 dress for $100 \u2026 But beyond that, it just fit beautifully and I could picture myself wearing it in a variety of ways down the line.\u201d<\/p>\n
At first, she wanted to keep her new purchase a secret.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was like, \u2018I\u2019m not telling anyone about this,’\u201d she recalled, laughing.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd then when I got home, I was like, \u2018You know what? This is kind of funny.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Quinn, who is a lifestyle influencer and posts content about manifesting her own desired destiny, also thought the post could encourage her followers to do the same.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve always been someone who does things in my own time and in my own way. So, in hindsight, buying the dress before meeting the guy actually feels very on brand for me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere was something about trying on the dress that just helped me visualize getting married in a way that I hadn\u2019t before \u2026 It really brought back excitement and reminded me to stay open and optimistic.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Southern California native, who moved to the Big Apple four years ago, has been single for the last year and a half.<\/p>\n
But that soon may change.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy DMs are definitely wild right now. I really thought guys might see this and think I was insane, but it\u2019s been the opposite. I\u2019ve gotten so many messages from men,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
