MANHATTAN (KSNT<\/a>) \u2013 Not one, not two, but three state titles are already under Caeleb Hutchinson\u2019s name, and now he just has one more to grab.<\/p>\n

The Manhattan High School senior wrestler is one of the best 6A wrestlers in Kansas. He recorded his 150th career win at the Class 6A West Regional, to help lead him to the 150-pound regional title.<\/p>\n

The three-time state title holder has a simple mindset when it comes to success, trusting the process.<\/p>\n

\u201cReally just domination,\u201d Hutchinson told 27 Sports. \u201cI train here every single day, and I really just need to trust my training and wrestle my best match, and everything will go well.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve said this in the past with him, there\u2019s no match too big,\u201d Manhattan High wrestling coach Shawn Bammes said. \u201cHe\u2019s just a humble kid that works hard and expects great things out of himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

13 boy wrestlers will represent Manhattan at state, including the two who were crowned regional champs alongside Hutchinson: Garrison Vikander at 285 pounds and Max Evans-Pryor at 175.<\/p>\n

Last season, the Tribe won the school\u2019s first-ever back-to-back wrestling state title, and this year they are looking to three-peat.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all 14 of them,\u201d Bammes said. \u201cWrestling a lot of the time is an individual sport, but for us it\u2019s a team sport. It takes all 14 of them to win a team title.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hutchinson is committed to the University of Northern Colorado to continue his wrestling career.<\/p>\n

The Class 6A state tournament begins Friday, Feb. 27, and ends Saturday, Feb. 28. The tournament will take place at AdventHealth Sports Park in Overland Park.<\/p>\n
