NEW YORK CITY \u2014 A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a double stabbing that killed a woman and injured a teen boy over the weekend, police said. <\/p>\n
The incident happened at an apartment at 956 Sherman Ave. in the Bronx on Saturday around 6:40 a.m. <\/p>\n
Juan Rivas, 45, is accused of fatally stabbing 42-year-old Yesenia Hall in the back and neck. Hall’s 16-year-old son was also stabbed in the incident. <\/p>\n
Hall and the 16-year-old boy were both taken to Lincoln Hospital. The 42-year-old woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The teen remains in stable condition. <\/p>\n
Rivas has been charged with murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of weapon and assault, police said. <\/p>\n
The suspect and the woman were apparently in a relationship and had lived in the same apartment. <\/p>\n
What led up to the deadly stabbing is not known at this time. <\/p>\n
