The attack in Iran is having an impact on gasoline prices, according to AAA. <\/p>\n
A spokesperson told News 12 that prices are going up because of the price of crude oil – not due to a supply chain issue. <\/p>\n
According to AAA, New Yorkers were paying the lowest price for gas in four or five years. On Monday, it was an average of about $3 a gallon in the city, which was up four cents from last week. <\/p>\n
Alfred Ganno, a truck driver, told News 12 that his company was having him fill up about 20 trucks as a precaution. He says he also worried about paying more from his own pocket. <\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on,\u201d said Ganno. \u201cI feel a little [scared] right now, maybe for the rent, maybe for the food, for the family, yes.\u201d <\/p>\n
