{"id":150632,"date":"2026-03-03T04:35:06","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T04:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/150632\/"},"modified":"2026-03-03T04:35:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T04:35:06","slug":"news-12-brooklyn-man-charged-with-attempted-murder-in-36th-street-subway-shoving-incident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/150632\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Brooklyn | Man charged with attempted murder in 36th Street subway shoving incident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Brooklyn District Attorney\u2019s Office says a man was arraigned on Monday and is facing an attempted murder charge for allegedly shoving another man onto the subway tracks at the 36th Street station.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brooklyn.news12.com\/homeless-man-arrested-for-shoving-man-onto-subway-tracks-at-36th-street-station\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ivan Negron, 39, <\/a>who officials say is homeless, allegedly pushed the 35-year-old just before 5 a.m. on Jan. 18 while he was standing on the southbound R train platform. The victim suffered a dislocated shoulder, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say EMS took the victim to NYU Langone Hospital\/Brooklyn. He is expected to recover.<\/p>\n<p>Police arrested Negron five days later.<\/p>\n<p>Negron faces a slew of additional charges, including assault, attempted assault and harassment.
