I\u2019m not offended by sweatpants at the airport<\/a> because, more often than not, I\u2019m wearing them<\/a> to board a plane. But that doesn\u2019t mean I can\u2019t acknowledge when a travel \u2018fit<\/a> is good\u2014and Priyanka Chopra just wore a very good one.\n<\/p>\n

A great airport outfit<\/a> is one that\u2019s comfortable enough to wear for hours while sitting in a cramped seat, but cute enough that you could theoretically go straight from your flight to sightseeing\u2014and Chopra\u2019s found that balance. Heading from NYC to Paris, she opted for an updated Canadian tuxedo. Her acid-wash set included a slightly cropped bomber jacket and wide-leg jeans with cargo pockets<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

Jeans are never my first choice for a flight, but Chopra\u2019s pair<\/a> convinced me that there is a smart way to do denim at the airport. The style\u2019s roomy wide-leg and relaxed fit actually looked comfortable, like they could endure my four hours in basic economy. And those big cargo pockets, while undeniably cool, can also serve a practical purpose; rather than shoving my phone and passport in an overstuffed carry-on, I could keep them there for easy access.\n<\/p>\n

But like I said, a good travel style can live beyond the plane\u2014and these jeans do. They\u2019re versatile, can make any outfit feel cooler, and are currently very on-trend; I mean, even Michelle Obama<\/a> has cosigned them.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

With cargo jeans<\/a>, you don\u2019t need to spend an hour at your hotel changing outfits after your flight\u2014these pants are immediately ready to go. They also happen to make getting dressed so easy. Because those oversized pockets are eye-catching, you can keep your top and shoes super simple (I\u2019m thinking an easy white tee or button-down and sneakers). It\u2019s a major win for minimalist packers.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
