The concert featured extensive pulls off the artist\u2019s latest solo record, 17 in total, in addition to a handful of chosen songs from his previous releases, Love Is the King (2020) and WARM (2018). Adding the concert\u2019s makeup, the bandleader, who was joined by his sons and collaborators, Spencer and Sammy, nodded to their 2014 Tweedy family band and subsequent release, Sukierae.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amongst the stagings\u2019 most coveted moments was the encore arrival of The Velvet Underground\u2019s \u201cWho Loves the Sun,\u201d which served as a bust out for Tweedy, who had not played the number since March 28, 2020, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.setlist.fm\/stats\/songs\/jeff-tweedy-3bd698b4.html?songid=23d7188f\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">setlist.FM<\/a>. Its arrival winked at the Twilight Override single \u201cLou Reed Was My Babysitter,\u201d a high point of the concert\u2019s main frame.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following the Loaded exploration, Tweedy welcomed his Wilco bandmate, Nels Cline, to assist in an extended version of Neil Young &amp; Crazy Horse\u2019s tale of the murderous Spanish conquistador, \u201cCortez The Killer.\u201d Its arrival received a thunderous welcome from the crowd, who responded to the first-time performance of the rock song, known for its instrumental pockets and solo space.\u00a0[Watch below.] <\/p>\n<p>Before closing the show, Tweedy and his band performed one final piece off the latest LP, settling on the single, \u201cEnough.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>After turning in a night in Brooklyn, N.Y., Tweedy will continue his solo touring efforts tonight at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts in Patchogue, N.Y.<\/p>\n<p>Photographer Bill Kelly attended Wednesday\u2019s concert and shared photos.
