The summer soccer schedule in the New York metro area is filling up, with two major friendlies just announced for late July.<\/p>\n

First, Liverpool FC<\/a> will face Wrexham AFC<\/a> on Wednesday, July 29, at Yankee Stadium. The two will play as part of a friendly series which will also feature Leeds United FC and Sunderland AFC, as first reported<\/a> in The Athletic.<\/p>\n

Saturday, July 25 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL<\/p>\n

Liverpool vs Sunderland
Saturday, July 25 at GEODIS Park, Nashville, YN<\/p>\n

Leeds United vs Sunderland
Wednesday, July 29 at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ<\/p>\n

Liverpool vs Wrexham
Thursday, July 30 at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, NY<\/p>\n

Sunderland vs Wrexham
Sunday, August 2 at Subaru Park in Chester, PA<\/p>\n

Leeds United vs Liverpool
Sunday, August 2 at Soldier Field, in Chicago<\/p>\n

Leeds<\/a> and Sunderland<\/a> will face each other the following day, when they play on Thursday, July 30, at Sports Illustrated Stadium<\/a> across the Hudson River in Harrison, NJ.<\/p>\n

Those matches are a part of a barnstorming tour that will take the four teams across the East Coast of the United States (plus Nashville) in late July and early August.<\/p>\n

New York City will play two games at Yankee Stadium in the same week that Liverpool and Wrexham play each other in the Bronx. First, NYCFC will host Chicago Fire on Saturday, July 25, at 4:30 pm ET. Then, the club will face Toronto FC on Friday, July 31, at 7:30 pm, just one day after Liverpool and Wrexham play. <\/p>\n

Sports Illustrated Stadium will also be seeing a lot of soccer games when Leeds United and Sunderland face each other on Wednesday, July 29.
