High temperatures will continue to be above average for the end of the week into the weekend, but it’ll also come with unsettled weather at times over the same time period.<\/p>\n

We’re tracking showers for Thursday, Thursday night and again on Saturday. Some freezing rain will be possible later Thursday into Thursday night the farther north and east you travel.<\/p>\n

Highs on Thursday will be in the 40s for most, with 20s across part of the far North Country. Temperatures on Friday will reach the 40s\/50s, with 50s and 60s likely on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Rising food costs are forcing a majority of New Yorkers to juggle expenses and make difficult household budget choices, according to a poll released Wednesday by No Kid Hungry New York, which also found a majority of respondents oppose federal cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP food benefits.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0Congress is taking its first votes on the Iran war as debate rages about U.S. goals<\/a><\/p>\n

The legislation, known as a war powers resolution, gives lawmakers an opportunity to demand congressional approval before any further attacks are carried out.
