NEW YORK (1010 WINS) \u2014 Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed a gas station in Queens last week, and assaulted two men who tried to confront them, the NYPD said.<\/p>\n
According to officials, a man and woman entered the BP gas station at 138-19 Hillside Ave. in Briarwood at about 9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, and stole an iPhone charger.<\/p>\n
After exiting the establishment, a 71-year-old man confronted the pair. The male suspect hurled a Red Bull at him, and then they both punched him, police said.<\/p>\n
Another victim, a 31-year-old man, was also punched by the male suspect, police said.<\/p>\n
The older victim suffered pain and bruising to his chin, and the younger one a laceration to the lip. Medics treated both men at the scene.<\/p>\n
The suspects fled in an unknown direction driving a dark-colored Honda Accord, officials said.<\/p>\n
Police described the male suspect as between the ages of 20 and 25 with long hair he pulled into a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a black sweater with a white collared shirt underneath and black pants.<\/p>\n
The female suspect was described by cops as a woman between the ages of 25 and 30 with a large build. She was last seen wearing a black coat with a skeleton print and black pants.<\/p>\n
