The Bulldogs (11-3) are 1-1 this week, posting an 11-1 run-rule road win in eight innings over Kennesaw State and then dropping a 10-9 thriller to Western Carolina at Foley Field. The Royals are 4-8 on the year with a road win over South Carolina earlier this season. Most recently, they fell 9-2 to No. 13 N.C. State on Wednesday.
