President Trump said Thursday that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem<\/a> lied to Congress about getting his approval for a $220 million ad campaign featuring herself<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Two sources close to the White House told The Post that Trump is furious that Noem testified that he approved of the ads \u2014 and set in motion his later move to fire her<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.)\u00a0told CBS<\/a>\u00a0on Thursday that he spoke with Trump and that \u201cput it this way, his recollection and her recollection are different.\u201d<\/p>\n
