\n\tQueen Latifah<\/a> is shutting down rumors of a death hoax that circulated on social media earlier this week. The rap legend took to Instagram<\/a> to calm fans\u2019 worries, explaining that she\u2019s \u201c100 percent A-okay\u201d in a post to Instagram.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGood morning. It\u2019s me, Latifah. I\u2019m 100 percent A-okay,\u201d she said from inside her car in the Thursday post. \u201cCan\u2019t believe what you read on the internet or see. Can\u2019t believe nothing now, right? I\u2019m good. Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cU.N.I.T.Y.\u201d rapper posted another video <\/a>warning fans about the dangers of believing everything they see on social media. \u201c[I appreciate] Everybody showing such care and concern, but honestly, what you saw on Facebook was fake. I\u2019m fine. I\u2019m 100 percent A-okay. Alright.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tQueen Latifah received plenty of love from fans, friends and her peers in her comments, including messages from Kehlani, <\/a>Gabrielle Union<\/a>, Malice<\/a> and Janelle Monae. <\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tThe 55-year-old hasn\u2019t publicly revealed that she\u2019s been suffering from any health issues in recent months. In 2025, Queen Latifah opened up about the struggles of losing family members to cardiovascular disease and obesity-related health issues in an interview with The Healthy. <\/a><\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLosing family members to the effects of obesity is really tough. I know how important it can be when someone takes a new approach to their health and how much it can impact others in a positive way,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, Latifah wrapped up her time as Robyn McCall after five seasons in The Equalizer. She also made a surprise appearance at Coachella in April 2025, where she served as a special guest during Megan Thee Stallion\u2019s<\/a> set. <\/p>\n
