{"id":156716,"date":"2026-03-08T08:06:16","date_gmt":"2026-03-08T08:06:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/156716\/"},"modified":"2026-03-08T08:06:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-08T08:06:16","slug":"staten-island-man-convicted-in-brooklyn-on-ghost-gun-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/156716\/","title":{"rendered":"Staten Island man convicted in Brooklyn on ghost gun charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DOWNTOWN \u2014 A FEDERAL JURY in Brooklyn convicted Brandon Nudelman, 33, of Staten Island on all counts of a superseding indictment charging him with firearms trafficking conspiracy,<a href=\"https:\/\/brooklyneagle.com\/tag\/gun-trafficking\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">firearms trafficking<\/a> and conspiracy to obstruct justice, yesterday, March 5, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-edny\/pr\/three-sales-executives-plead-guilty-500-million-investment-fraud-scheme\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors established at trial that between January and September 2023, Nudelman and co-conspirators used 3D printers and \u201cPolymer 80\u201d kits to assemble untraceable <a href=\"https:\/\/brooklyneagle.com\/tag\/ghost-guns\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ghost guns<\/a> \u2014 including at least nine devices capable of converting semi-automatic weapons into fully automatic machine guns \u2014 and sold them without a license.<\/p>\n<p>A Sept. 7, 2023, search warrant at a co-conspirator\u2019s residence recovered multiple homemade firearms, nine switches, 3D printers and more than 100 rounds of ammunition.<\/p>\n<p>Nudelman faces up to 30 years in prison. Three co-defendants have already pleaded guilty and await sentencing. Judge Ann M.
