NEW YORK (PIX11) \u2014 Spring fever could hit the tri-state area for the majority of the week after what felt like a never-ending winter.<\/p>\n
Sunday evening temperatures hit a whopping 62 degrees at 10 p.m. in Central Park as New Yorkers were out and about to cap off the weekend.<\/p>\n
More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n Monday looks even better in all aspects. Temperatures could get as high as 68 degrees with a smattering of sun across the five boroughs. Minimal cloud coverage seems to round out what looks to be the best day of the week.<\/p>\n Tuesday is shaping up to be the warmest day of the week, along with some cloud coverage to keep you comfortable. It could get as warm as 70 degrees in some areas before possible showers on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Those showers shouldn\u2019t hit the area until Wednesday evening as the temperature drops to the mid-60s.<\/p>\n Even more rain is expected to hit the city on Thursday, however.
