As the start of the new league year rapidly approaches, trade rumors surrounding Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> linebacker Patrick Queen<\/a> and the Dallas Cowboys have been picking up steam \u2014 until ESPN’s Adam Schefter put a halt to the speculation, that is.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, Schefter reported that the Steelers aren’t interested in moving on from Queen, despite rumors linking the Pro Bowl linebacker to the Cowboys.<\/p>\n “Patrick Queen one is unusual because that also continues to float out there,\u201d Schefter said via The Pat McAfee Show<\/a>. \u201cThe Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> say they’re not interested in moving on from him. This could be maybe a money issue where he might be looking for more. Or maybe they want him to take a pay cut that he\u2019s unwilling to take right now.\u201d<\/p>\n Carrying a 2026 cap hit of $17.1 million, Queen has been tabbed as a potential trade candidate or cap casualty heading into the offseason.
