Led by Broadway choreographer Chase Brock,\u00a0(Be More Chill, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark), the company\u00a0will play a strictly limited seven-performance engagement at A.R.T.\/New York Theatres April 8-12.<\/p>\n<p>Directed and choreographed by Brock, the piece\u00a0emulates a crew of restless mariners hurling themselves through salt and spray toward first light. Eric Dietz has created an original score and soundscape for the work.<\/p>\n<p>Come Home will be danced by Chase Brock\u00a0Experience members Jane Abbott, Maiko Adela, Derek Crescenti, Kaylee DaCosta, John Guaragna\u00a0and MaliQ, with CBE members Parker Aimone and <a data-crosslink=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/playbill.com\/person\/maya-kazzaz-performer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Maya Kazzaz<\/a> serving as understudies.<\/p>\n<p>The production will feature\u00a0set and costume design by Brock and\u00a0lighting design by <a data-crosslink=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/playbill.com\/person\/japhy-weideman-vault-0000123394\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Japhy Weideman<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDance is the longest relationship in my life, so stepping into an empty room once more to carve and shape this new work\u00a0with the bodies, brains and hearts of the cherished artists of my company feels like coming home indeed&#8230;Being reunited with the lighting of Japhy Weideman and the music of Eric Dietz feels just right\u00a0for this particular dance, fueled by treasured 19th Century\u2013English shanties and inspired by the mystery, poetry, and siren\u00a0song of the sea,\u201d said Brock in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>An official opening performance is slated for April 10, with a post-performance\u00a0reception with the artists.
