Police are on the hunt for four individuals they suspect assaulted an MTA<\/a> worker in a Bronx 6 train station early on Tuesday morning.\n<\/p>\n

According to cops, the incident took place at 1:47 a.m. on Tuesday inside the\u00a06 train station, within the confines of the NYPD\u2019s 41st Precinct<\/a> and Transit District 12.<\/p>\n

Police said the trouble began when the four alleged perpetrators, two male and two female, approached the 55-year-old male MTA employee and engaged him in a verbal dispute, police say.\n<\/p>\n

The two alleged male perpetrators then began punching the MTA worker in the face, before fleeing the scene on foot to an unknown location, cops said. The female perpetrators boarded a northbound 6 train to an unknown destination as well.<\/p>\n

Emergency services personnel showed up at the scene to treat the victim for minor injuries.<\/p>\n

The two female suspects both have dark complexions. One is seen wearing a black vest, white shirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers; while the other has a black jacket, blue shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.<\/p>\n

amNewYork reached out to the MTA and the Transit Workers Union Local 100 about the incident and is awaiting responses from both.\n<\/p>\n
