A pack of wild teenagers went on a rampage at a Bronx supermarket \u2014 accosting customers, punching a security guard and even ripping the hair out of a female employee\u2019s head when she tried to stop them, The Post has learned. <\/p>\n
The uncontrollable kids went on the terrifying spree of violence at the Allerton Key Food Wednesday at about 8:30 p.m. \u2014 and are still at large after a melee that sent customers scrambling for safety.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a supermarket. You come here to shop and you leave.\u00a0I\u2019m not supposed to have a customer covering her baby\u2019s eyes,\u201d Miquel Garcia, the store\u2019s owner, told The Post.<\/p>\n

The disturbing brawl involved five teens \u2014 four girls and a boy \u2014 who stormed into the shop on White Plains Road and started screaming.<\/p>\n
The boy had been at the shop just 15 minutes earlier with another group, but left after the boy was scolded by a shopper he allegedly hit twice and was warned to \u201chave some manners,\u201d Garcia said.<\/p>\n
Security footage captured the new group bursting through the doors, seemingly in search of the customer, before turning their ire on a security guard.<\/p>\n
A teen squared up with the guard and demanded information on the \u201cincident,\u201d the video shows.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe security guard told them, \u2018I don\u2019t know what you are talking about.\u2019 One girl, without warning, went chest-to-chest with the security and hit him in the face,\u201d said Garcia.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s when the head cashier \u2014 a 23-year-old college student \u2014 attempted to intervene.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe head cashier told the teen, \u2018You can\u2019t do that.\u2019 That\u2019s all it took for the rest of the group to jump her. They started punching her and pulled out her hair. They broke her glasses,\u201d Garcia said.<\/p>\n
The video shows the group sending the employee to the ground as she desperately tries to defend herself.<\/p>\n
The security guard put himself in the middle of the melee, but the relentless teens continued to rain blows down on the young cashier.<\/p>\n
Several shoppers raced from the violence, including one mother who covered the eyes of her toddler as she rushed to safety. <\/p>\n
Other bystanders ultimately pushed the group of teens out of the store, and the group fled the scene.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen they came back, they came to fight. There was no reason for this,\u201d said Garcia.<\/p>\n
Police and an ambulance later arrived, but there have not yet been any arrests. <\/p>\n

The head cashier, who has worked at the shop for five years, has taken the week off because she\u2019s too shaken up to return.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s still in shock. She\u2019s still shaky. She\u2019s scared,\u201d said Garcia.<\/p>\n
Another cashier who ran and hid during the brawl quit on the spot, Garcia said: \u201cShe said she can\u2019t work here anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Garcia, teens have been pulling the same violent antics in other stores in the area, but have yet to be punished for the behavior.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are supposed to be essential workers. These people were here during COVID, serving the community. People had to eat and this is what we get?\u201d Garcia said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m hoping something can be done because they\u2019ll come back and do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Francisco Marte, Founder and President of Bodega & Small Group, is calling on the NYPD to track down the \u201cvolatile, cowardly group of individuals.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is incredibly frustrating\u2014and frankly, exhausting\u2014to see innocent people targeted for something they didn\u2019t even do,\u201d said Marte.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want there to be consequences for the perpetrators.\u201d<\/p>\n
