Project Runway<\/a> is about to get an injection of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent!<\/p>\n

After Utica Queen<\/a> reached the final three for her avant-garde designs on season 21 of Heidi Klum\u2019s popular fashion competition show, two new RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race queens are joining the cast for the upcoming season, Entertainment Weekly<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

Drag Race season 16 star Plane Jane<\/a>, who just finished her short-lived stint on <\/a>House of Villains<\/a>, will appear on season 22 of Project Runway in a yet-to-be-disclosed capacity.<\/p>\n

Jane will be joined by fellow Drag Race season 16 alum Q<\/a>, who will be competing as one of the designers after receiving high praise for her fashion on the Drag Race main stage.<\/p>\n

The two competitors formed a unique bond on Drag Race, becoming a hit with the fandom when Q disclosed her HIV status to Jane. (“Mama, kudos for saying that. For spilling,” Jane told Q in the viral moment<\/a>.) And now it looks like fans will have another chance to see the two drag queens on screen together. <\/p>\n

“Looking back on it, thinking about what she\u2019s saying, for sure it sounds a little funny and weird,\u201d Q later said of the moment. \u201cBut, she was completely sincere in the moment, so we didn\u2019t even think about it being something funny or turned into such a meme…. By that point, bitch, I knew. I\u2019d dealt with all sides of Plane Jane, so, that was the least surprising comment coming out of her mouth.”<\/p>\n

A premiere date for Project Runway season 22 has yet to be announced, but the show is expected to be released on Freeform, Disney+, and Hulu later this year. Klum is the host.
