Failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris<\/a> has teased another run for the White House.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not done,\u201d the former vice president told the\u00a0BBC\u00a0in her strongest comments so far on her political plans. \u201cI have lived my entire career as a life of service and it\u2019s in my bones,\u201d\u00a0she told the British outlet.<\/p>\n

The former\u00a0California\u00a0senator\u00a0and state attorney general\u00a0also maintained\u00a0her grand-nieces would see the nation elect its first female president \u201cin their lifetime, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pressed on whether it would be her, Harris responded: \u201cpossibly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her comments to the network come less than a year after she lost the 2024 election<\/a> to Donald Trump by 2 million votes,\u00a0and by a\u00a0whopping\u00a0margin of 312 to 226 in the Electoral College.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Kamala lost the election in a landslide she should\u2019ve taken the hint \u2013 the American people don\u2019t care about her absurd lies,\u201d\u00a0White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told\u00a0The Post.\u00a0\u201cOr maybe she did take the hint and that\u2019s why she\u2019s continuing to air her grievances to foreign publications,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Harris has been on a\u00a0book\u00a0tour <\/a>promoting her\u00a0memoir, \u201c107 Days,\u201d\u00a0about her frenetic White House run following President Joe Biden\u2019s stunning decision to exit the race after his\u00a0July 2024\u00a0debate disaster against President Trump.<\/p>\n

She dismissed betting odds that give her a slim chance of making it back to the White House.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I listened to polls I would have not run for my first office, or my second office \u2014 and I certainly wouldn\u2019t be sitting here,\u201d she told the BBC.<\/p>\n

Harris\u00a0leads former California Gov. Gavin Newsom<\/a> and former Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg in recent Democratic primary polls.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"KamalaHarris was on the BBC to promote her memoir, \u201c107 Days.\u201d BBC News<\/p>\n

But her\u00a0chances\u00a0of being her party\u2019s 2028 nominee are just 2 percent, according to\u00a0the Polymarket betting site,\u00a0which lists\u00a0Newsom and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez<\/a> (D-N.Y.)\u00a0as\u00a0the current leaders.<\/p>\n

In her book, Harris criticized\u00a0Biden\u2019s decision to seek reelection at age 81, although some Democrats\u00a0slammed\u00a0her campaign for failing to distinguish her policy plans from his.<\/p>\n

She cited the \u201cmantra\u201d of it being \u201cJoe and Jill\u2019s decision\u201d\u00a0as to\u00a0whether Biden would run again, in reference to former first lady Jill Biden.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas it grace, or was it recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was recklessness. The stakes were simply too high. This wasn\u2019t a choice that should have been left to an individual\u2019s ego, an individual\u2019s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harris announced in July after \u201cdeep reflection\u201d that she would not run in the open Democratic primary to be governor of California.\u00a0<\/p>\n
