Brooklyn Beckham<\/a> publicly celebrated his mother-in-law Claudia Heffner Peltz\u2019s 71st birthday, shortly before staying quiet on U.K. Mother\u2019s Day<\/a> amid his ongoing family drama.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy birthday to the best mother-in-law,\u201d Brooklyn, 27, wrote via his Instagram Stories on Saturday, March 14. \u201cLove [you] so much and hope [you] had the most amazing day \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn also reposted his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham\u2019s tribute<\/a> to her mom.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy birthday to my mom! The pure fact that I get to call you mom makes me truly, the luckiest ever,\u201d Nicola, 31, wrote hours earlier on Saturday. \u201cI\u2019m so happy I got to spend your special day with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Brooklyn, 26, chooses to distance himself from his family \u2014 including his parents, David and Victoria \u2014 a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Brooklyn\u2019s mother-in-law, Claudia Heffner, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI love celebrating you \u2014 your light is so bright you make everything better in this world. I love you more than you will ever understand. I hope all your dreams and wishes come true!\u201d<\/p>\n

The next day, Mother\u2019s Day was celebrated across the United Kingdom. Brooklyn\u2019s family specifically honored his mom, Victoria Beckham.<\/p>\n

David, 50, and Victoria have been married since 1999, going on to welcome<\/a> sons Brooklyn, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, as well as daughter Harper, 14.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn, who is currently estranged from his parents and siblings, was the only Beckham offspring who didn\u2019t send the former Spice Girl a public Mother\u2019s Day message.<\/p>\n
