FLUSHING, Queens (PIX11) \u2014 Two people are in critical condition after a four\u2011alarm fire caused a partial collapse at a three\u2011story apartment building in Queens on Monday, officials said.<\/p>\n
Two firefighters fell during the response but were not seriously hurt, both were taken to the hospital for precautionary evaluation, according to fire officials.<\/p>\n
The blaze engulfed a building at 132-03 Avery Ave. near College Point Boulevard in Flushing at 12:30 p.m., according to the FDNY.<\/p>\n
