The United States saw four terror attacks<\/a> on its soil in just the two weeks since the Iran war began, yet Democrats voted yet again last week to #Defund Homeland Security.<\/p>\n

Are they trying to help the terrorists?<\/p>\n

They also seem to hate TSA workers and flight passengers: Chaos has reigned<\/a> at airports around the nation, with hours-long security lines; the shutdown has prompted 300 agents to quit and others to take unscheduled leaves rather than work without pay.<\/p>\n

The defunding\u2019s latest horror: The Department of Homeland Security\u2019s Office for Bombing Prevention just canceled<\/a> a training class on how to handle IEDs.<\/p>\n

The OBP had to do that even though Islamic terrorists tossed two<\/a> of those very devices near Gracie Mansion just days before.<\/p>\n

Not to mention the terrorist who drove a truck filled with flammable liquids and fireworks into a Michigan synagogue packed with kids.<\/a><\/p>\n

The OBP is operating with only six of its 18 instructors. Brilliant.<\/p>\n

Actually, it\u2019s unthinkable: Airport misery and flight safety are bad enough, but defunding bomb prevention \u2014 at a time like this? <\/p>\n

Dems are holding the nation\u2019s security and air travel hostage in a purely symbolic protest to prove their hatred of ICE to their base.<\/p>\n

The funding cutoff doesn\u2019t even hit ICE, which already got ample cash in last year\u2019s Big Beautiful Bill Act.<\/p>\n

Yet the donkeys just won\u2019t budge, even as the pain \u2014 and risks \u2014 mount. <\/p>\n

No matter that they\u2019re dumping on some of the very people (unionized TSA workers) Democrats claim to champion.<\/p>\n

Massive security lines have plagued airports in Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Austin and more; the TSA absence rate at some airports has been crippling<\/a>: Houston\u2019s Hobby Airport had 53% of its TSA officers call out March 8 and 47% the next day.<\/p>\n

New York\u2019s JFK saw 21% of its TSA staff call in sick over the past month.<\/p>\n

Storms are adding to the nightmares, with more than 8,000 flight delays and 3,800 cancellations Monday within, into or out of the country,\u00a0per FlightAware.<\/a><\/p>\n

None of that stopped 46 Senate Dems from killing a stopgap funding bill for DHS last week<\/a> \u2014 using the filibuster to prevent a floor vote that would pass it.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s well past time for Democrats to end the games and think about everyday Americans for a change.<\/p>\n
