It\u2019s no easy feat to gather more than 50 brands together for one singular event, but Italian high-end cultural and creative industry foundation Altagamma has done just that.<\/p>\n
From April 9 through April 11, 43 flagship boutiques for 56 Italian luxury brands across the fashion, design, food, beverages, automotive, jewelry and yachting industries will transform their Manhattan locations into cultural spaces, hosting special installations that present some of the finest Italian creations.<\/p>\n

During the three-day event, dubbed \u201cIcons of Italy,\u201d attendees can expect to see master artisans demonstrating techniques behind the creation of Made in Italy products, discover bespoke fashion creations, designer talks and presentations, and food and wine tastings from various regions of Italy.<\/p>\n
Participating fashion brands in the three-day event include Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Bulgari, Canali, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro, Ferragamo, Gucci, Herno, Isaia, Jil Sander, Kiton, Max Mara, Missoni, Prada, Santoni, Tod\u2019s, Valentino, Versace and Zegna, among others.<\/p>\n
Matteo Lunelli<\/a>, chairman of Altagamma, said in a statement that the event \u201ccelebrates a cultural dialogue between Italy and the United States that has enriched both countries for generations.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAmerican audiences have long recognized and embraced the creativity, craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit that define Made in Italy<\/a>,\u201d Lunelli said<\/a>. \u201cThrough this initiative we want to share the richness and diversity of our creative industries, of our true Icons, offering visitors an authentic journey into the culture, traditions and territories that shape Italian excellence.\u201d<\/p>\n An added element of the event is a chance to win a free trip to Italy. According to Lunelli, attendees can snap a picture or video of their experience during the New York event for a chance to win the prize.
