WASHINGTON (TNND) \u2014 New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani\u2019s<\/a> wife Ruma Duwaji praised Palestinian terrorists on different social media accounts as a young adult.<\/p>\n

According to a review of Duwaji\u2019s social media posts by The Washington Free Beacon<\/a>, she praised Palestinian terrorist Leila Khaled on her old Tumblr account in 2017.<\/p>\n

She quoted one of Khaled\u2019s most famous statement on the social media website.<\/p>\n

“If it does good for my cause, I’ll be happy to accept death,” the caption on the post reads, according to the newspaper.<\/p>\n

Khaled participated in plane hijackings in 1969 and 1970.<\/p>\n

Many of Duwaji\u2019s accounts appear not to be active anymore<\/a>. Most of the posts happened while she was in the Middle East. She is of Syrian descent, but spent a lot of her childhood in New Jersey.<\/p>\n

Her family moved to Dubai in 2006.<\/p>\n

In 2015, Duwaji praised Shadia Abu Ghazaleh, who participated in bombing an Israeli bus and other terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n

She died when a bomb she was building exploded in her home on accident.<\/p>\n

Duwaji posted a picture of Ghazaleh on Tumblr for International Women\u2019s Day in 2015.<\/p>\n
