Every one of the tens of thousands of Americans stuck in endless security lines at airports should know who to blame: Democrats in Congress who think your suffering is a small price to pay for showing their elite donors that they\u2019re \u201cdoing something\u201d about ICE.<\/p>\n
Not that this insanity\u00a0actually\u00a0impacts immigration enforcement:\u00a0Dems refuse<\/a>\u00a0to fund Homeland Security, but ICE and the Border Patrol still have plenty of cash thanks to billions authorized last year.<\/p>\n Doesn\u2019t matter: Big-money leftists want someone to suffer \u2014 and stopping paychecks for TSA, the Coast Guard, FEMA and a few other agencies is the best that Democrats can manage.<\/p>\n So these workers \u2014 already shafted by Dems\u2019 larger government shutdown last year \u2014 get reamed.<\/p>\n Some pull sickouts; some\u00a0just quit<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 and the security lines get longer and longer, right\u00a0as Spring Break kicks<\/a>\u00a0into high gear and Easter school breaks approach.<\/p>\n Agents haven\u2019t been paid for 35 days; their big troubles paying the bills are only beginning.<\/p>\n So the lines will be getting worse \u2014 and some smaller airports will have to shut down entirely soon.<\/p>\n Not to mention the\u00a0other\u00a0big issue: Homeland Security\u00a0being crippled<\/a>\u00a0while the nation\u2019s at war with a country that\u2019s been sponsoring global terrorism for the last half-century.<\/p>\n All this, thanks to a party that claims to stand for the little guy \u2014 but in fact answers to a woke donor class and the campus progressives who set today\u2019s Democratic agenda.<\/p>\n
