If anyone defines chic Manhattan style, it’s Katie Holmes. The actress is always trekking around the city in carefree yet cool outfits, pairing them with practical accessories like an oversized leather tote. The sleek, effortless staple is one that New Yorkers love, and even if you don’t have a Tribeca zip code, you can still nail that throw-on-and-go vibe with a $23 version.

Holmes was spotted carrying her own black tote around SoHo in downtown Manhattan. She styled the pick with a crisp blue button-down, beige tailored trousers, slide sandals and oval sunnies — the kind of easy, polished outfit city slickers rely on daily. The elevated carryall instantly pulled the laid-back look together, which is exactly why we’re adding the Amazon alternative to cart.
