Jay-Z added a third show<\/a> to his Yankee Stadium homestand<\/a> celebrating the anniversaries of his hit albums \u201cReasonable Doubt\u201d and \u201cThe Blueprint.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Brooklyn native\u2019s Roc Nation company announced a July 12 \u201cExtra Innings\u201d performance on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cJA\u0178-Z announces additional 7\/12 show at @yankeestadium after 7\/10 and 7\/11 shows sell out,\u201d Roc Nation posted online.<\/p>\n

The first two shows were announced Wednesday. The opening night performance is billed as \u201cJA\u0178-Z 30.\u201d The second one is called \u201cJA\u0178-Z 25.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jay-Z\u2019s debut album, \u201cReasonable Doubt,\u201d is turning 30 years old. \u201cThe Blueprint,\u201d which features Eminem, is 25 years old. The umlaut that appears above the \u201cY\u201d<\/a> in his name once more is a shout-out to his debut album featuring that same diacritical distinction.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not known who might join Jay-Z onstage for any of the three concerts. The Yankees are in Washington, D.C.<\/a> to play the Nationals during those dates, which precede Major League Baseball\u2019s All-Star Game in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

Fans who can\u2019t make it to Yankee Stadium in July can see Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, when he headlines the Roots Picnic<\/a> in Philadelphia on May 30.<\/p>\n

He last performed live<\/a> with his wife Beyonc\u00e9 on her \u201cCowboy Carter\u201d tour, which concluded in July, according to USA Today.<\/p>\n

Jay-Z admitted in a GQ interview<\/a> published Tuesday that a lawsuit against him at the start of 2025 left him feeling drained and upset. An anonymous woman alleged she was sexually assaulted by him and imprisoned rapper Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs in 2000, when she was 13 years old.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat whole [lawsuit thing], that s\u2013t took a lot out of me,\u201d the 56-year-old music mogul confessed. \u201cI was angry. I haven\u2019t been that angry in a long time, uncontrollable anger.\u201d<\/p>\n
