The Eagles have added to their wide receiver room.<\/p>\n

Elijah Moore and the Eagles have agreed to a one-year contract on Tuesday, according to NFL Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport.<\/p>\n

Moore, a second-round pick by the Jets in 2021, had back-to-back seasons with the Browns of more than 100 targets before playing just nine games with the Bills this past season (logging nine catches for 112 yards and one rushing touchdown against Gang Green) before he was released.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old was then picked up by the Broncos, and mostly spent time on the practice squad, but was active for the AFC Championship. <\/p>\n

He made one catch for four yards in a 10-7 loss to the Patriots.<\/p>\n

The most intriguing part of this contract might just be that Moore and Eagles star A.J. Brown, as NFL Network\u2019s Cameron Wolfe notes<\/a>, are very close friends.<\/p>\n

The two were teammates at Ole Miss, and according to Wolfe, Brown has credited Moore with helping him through mental health struggles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t even call it a friendship. It\u2019s family,\u201d Moore said in 2022, according to ESPN<\/a>. \u201cThe things we\u2019ve been through, the things we talk about, it has real substance. That\u2019s someone who is connected to me in a way that\u2019s more than \u2026 \u201cHe\u2019s blood.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the better part of two years, there has been speculation about Brown and the Eagles<\/a> and whether or not the organization will trade him<\/a> out of town.<\/p>\n

The Athletic reported earlier in March that the Eagles, after \u201cserious conversations with both the Rams and Patriots,\u201d\u00a0are not likely to trade Brown, at least imminently.<\/p>\n

General manager Howie Roseman spoke highly of Brown<\/a> after the Eagles lost in the first round of the playoffs to the 49ers.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really hard to find great players,\u201d Roseman said. \u201cI think A.J. is a great player.
