\n\tThe Guggenheim in New York City is one of the most famous art museums in the world, and on the morning of Wednesday (March 25), BTS<\/a> descended on the landmark to add a little performance art to its galleries ahead of the band\u2019s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon appearance.<\/p>\n

\n\tBillboard was on the scene as RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook sang and danced to two tracks from their new album, ARIRANG, which dropped earlier in March. One of them was \u201cSWIM,\u201d the project\u2019s lead single, while the other was \u201c2.0.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThere were about 150 fans invited to the top-secret performance, and no phones were allowed. The septet performed the two tracks in the Guggenheim\u2019s striking multi-story round in the main lobby \u2014 and while RM was able to dance for \u201cSWIM,\u201d he sat on a stool during \u201c2.0\u201d as he recovers from the ankle injury <\/a>he suffered shortly prior to BTS\u2019 March 21 comeback show in Seoul.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs previously announced<\/a>, the Bangtan Boys will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night for their first full-group late-night interview since reuniting. One of BTS\u2019 Guggenheim performances from Wednesday morning will air during the episode, while the second will be shown to Fallon viewers on Thursday (March 26).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Guggenheim showcase and Fallon interview come as BTS has been promoting ARIRANG \u2014 the group\u2019s first full-length since 2020\u2019s Billboard 200<\/a>-topper Be \u2014 in New York City. A few days prior, the members answered ARMY questions and performed for an immersive Spotify fan event. <\/p>\n

\n\tCheck out BTS\u2019 interview and the first of the band\u2019s two Guggenheim performances when Fallon airs at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.<\/p>\n
