The 2026 MLB season officially kicks off this Wednesday, March 25, with the Yankees-at-Giants three-game series. Playing across Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of MLB Opening Week, the long-standing rivals will make their 2026 season debut on Netflix<\/a> \u2014 a first for MLB. Max Fried will start for the Yankees, Logan Webb for the Giants. Games 2 and 3 will return to slightly more traditional broadcast methods (MLB.TV<\/a> and Fox).<\/p>\n

On Thursday, a more traditional Opening Day slate is scheduled, including two matchups airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
