Photo: Phil O\u2019Brien<\/p>\n<p>Stretching across 6,000 square feet of green hoardings along Amsterdam Avenue and W62nd Street, a new mural by artists Vanesa \u00c1lvarez and Derval Fairweather will turn the perimeter of Lincoln Center\u2019s West Initiative into a canvas shaped by the neighborhood itself. The work, titled The Future We Create, draws directly from a series of workshops with residents \u2014 children, parents and longtime neighbors whose ideas, drawings and stories have been folded into the final design.<\/p>\n<p>Success!
