Tens of thousands of people marched through Manhattan Saturday, protesting President Donald Trump and his policies, as part of the larger \u201cNo Kings\u201d movement that included more than 3,000 other planned demonstrations nationwide.<\/p>\n
Demonstrators\u00a0gathered at Columbus Circle and Central Park and marched down Seventh Avenue, banging drums and railing against the Trump administration\u2019s\u00a0\u201cOperation Epic Fury\u201d\u00a0in Iran, its immigration policies and planned cuts to Medicaid and public education.<\/p>\n
Many chanted \u201cNo ICE! No Kings! No War!\u201d and carried hand-written signs with slogans such as \u201cWake Up America, we are living in a fascist state!\u201d and \u201cNothing is more American than opposing Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s no King\u2019s Day. It\u2019s getting a little warmer out now, so it\u2019s a nice day to protest,\u201d said\u00a0Mike Heisy, a 63-year-old retiree.<\/p>\n
Others in attendance included radical, Trump-hating far-lefties like actor Robert De Niro and state Attorney General Letitia James.<\/p>\n

The vitriol towards the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency and the rest of the Trump administration was well-funded.<\/p>\n
A network of 500 groups with an estimated budgets totaling $3 billion were behind the coordinated nationwide \u201cNo Kings\u201d rallies, including communist groups funded by tech mogul and alleged Communist China Party propagandist<\/a> Neville Singham, Fox News Digital reported.<\/a><\/p>\n Indivisible, a national Democratic political advocacy organization funded by far-left billionaire George Soros, is the lead coordinator for the protests.<\/p>\n Other cities hosting the demonstrations included Washington D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco, and St. Paul, Minn., the site of the flagship rally where organizers claimed more than 200,000 turned out. <\/p>\n Rocker Bruce Springsteen performed his new protest song \u201cStreets of Minneapolis,\u201d and was joined by others including actor Jane Fonda and Vermont Sen.
