{"id":178860,"date":"2026-03-29T14:54:30","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T14:54:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/178860\/"},"modified":"2026-03-29T14:54:30","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T14:54:30","slug":"35-year-old-man-found-stabbed-to-death-in-the-bronx","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/178860\/","title":{"rendered":"35-year-old man found stabbed to death in the Bronx"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t<img width=\"1200\" height=\"862\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774796070_757_DSC_1689-scaled.jpg\" class=\"crop-center wp-post-image\" alt=\"Police crime scene tape.\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"   title=\"35-year-old man found stabbed to death in the Bronx 1\"\/>\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Police tape (file photo).<\/p>\n<p>Photo by Lloyd Mitchell<\/p>\n<p>A 35-year-old man was found stabbed to death in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amny.com\/new-york\/bronx-double-stabbing-02282026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Bronx<\/a> late Saturday night, police said.<\/p>\n<p>According to law enforcement sources, officers from the 52nd Precinct responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed across the street from 3210 Webster Ave. in Norwood on March 28, just before 10 p.m.\n<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a single stab wound to the torso.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>EMS arrived at the scene and rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.\n<\/p>\n<p>Police are withholding the victim\u2019s identity pending family notification. Right now there are no arrests, but the investigation remains ongoing.\n<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding the incident can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). All calls and messages are kept confidential<\/p>\n<p>The horrific incident follows the case of a 21-year-old man who was shot and killed in the same neighborhood near the Woodlawn subway station on March 26. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.norwoodnews.org\/update-norwood-21-year-old-man-dead-after-shooting-to-the-head-one-arrested\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Norwood News<\/a> reported that police made one arrest following the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>By this time last year, there were no murders in the 52nd Precinct, compared to one reported in 2026, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/assets\/nypd\/downloads\/pdf\/crime_statistics\/cs-en-us-052pct.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">latest crime statistics<\/a>.
