There was a lot of murmuring,\u201d the attendee said.<\/p>\n Another source who attended the event told The Post the situation was \u201cwild.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe was heckled,\u201d the source said. \u201cIt\u2019s never like that.\u201d<\/p>\n The event sparked controversy before it even began, when Israeli-American comic Modi Rosenfeld, or Modi, pulled out of the benefit when he found out Mamdani would be on hand.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were not told Mamdani was participating in this event until today,\u201d according to a message posted on the comedian\u2019s Instagram account Monday afternoon. \u201cModi will no longer be attending.\u201d<\/p>\n Mamdani was heckled as he spoke, according to a report. <\/p>\n
