Tonight will be breezy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. There is an isolated, to widely-scattered, risk of severe weather this evening.<\/p>\n

Ongoing shower chances continue the rest of the week. Temperatures will be a bit cooler Wednesday but rebound to end the week.<\/p>\n

Temperatures will be unseasonably warm Friday and Saturday with highs in the 60s and low 70s. In the wake of a cold front that will swing through on Sunday, temperatures will settle back into the 40s to start next week.<\/p>\n

Chancellor Kent Syverud announced his tenure will end sooner than previously announced.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Jury deliberations continue in Mid-State prison death trial<\/a><\/p>\n

The jury deliberated for a second day in the trial of former Mid-State correction officer Jonah Levi, who is charged with second-degree murder and several other crimes related to the death of Messiah Nantwi, an incarcerated 22-year-old who was beaten at the prison and died.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0New York lawmakers pass state budget extender through April 7<\/a><\/p>\n

The New York state Legislature on Tuesday passed a state budget extension after clear signs the budget would be late. It was promptly signed into law by Gov. Kathy Hochul. The extension, sent to lawmakers by Hochul Monday evening, runs through April 7.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0Bruce Blakeman denied public campaign matching funds in race for N.Y. governor, board decides<\/a><\/p>\n

New York Republican gubernatorial nominee Bruce Blakeman was denied millions of dollars of public campaign matching funds following a decision by the state panel that oversees the program. The state Public Campaign Finance Board on Tuesday voted 4-3 on a resolution that disqualifies Blakeman from the program over a technicality.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Trump voices frustration with allies as Iran war and strait closure pushes fuel prices higher<\/a><\/p>\n

The president’s social media tirade came after U.S. strikes hit a city that is home to one of Iran\u2019s main nuclear sites, sending a massive fireball into the sky, and Tehran\u00a0attacked a fully loaded Kuwaiti oil tanker\u00a0in the Persian Gulf.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0Supreme Court rules against Colorado ban on ‘conversion therapy’ for LGBTQ+ kids<\/a><\/p>\n
