\n\tOpening the game in thrilling fashion, both Natalye DeBus<\/a> and Kaitlyn Moody<\/a> blasted two-run shots in the first inning to score Samantha Kelly<\/a> and Lainey Brown<\/a>, respectively.\u00a0
\n\tNot taking long to respond, FDU answered over their first two turns at the plate with a combined three runs, two of which coming off a home run for the hosts.\u00a0
\n\tKelly drew a bases-loaded walk in the fourth to up the Jasper advantage to two after four innings of play.\u00a0
\n\tIn the fifth frame, the Knights evened up the score at five apiece after an RBI double.\u00a0
\n\tThe home bats finally broke through in the sixth, with a bases-clearing double highlighting a four-run sequence to take a commanding lead into the seventh.
\n\tFor the second time in the afternoon, Moody went yard to score Brown and cut the visiting deficit down to two, but was not enough to prevail.\u00a0

\n\tFreshman catcher Kaitlyn Moody<\/a> hit two home runs, a new career-high for a single game. The Ramona, Calif. native now has three on the season.
\n\tFreshman utility player Natalye DeBus<\/a> tallied her team-leading eighth home run of 2026, as well as two more RBI to her lead of 26.\u00a0
